Editorial Policy
Submission Requirements:
Manuscripts currently under consideration by another journal or publisher should not be submitted. The author must state that the work is not submitted or published elsewhere.
In the case of manuscripts reporting on field surveys or experiments, Microsoft Word® or PDF files of the instrument (questionnaire, case, interview plan, or the like) should be submitted. Information that might identify the author(s) must be deleted from the instrument. If possible (and you know how to do so), please also remove any identifiers in the Document Properties. Further information on the AAA’s Human Subjects Research policy can be found here, https://aaahq.org/portals/0/documents/publications/publications%20ethics_human%20subjects%20research.pdf?ver=2021-11-15-094856-533
Submit as SEPARATE files: Letter to the editor, blind manuscript, and title page.
Manuscripts must be submitted through the Manuscript Submission and Peer Review System for Journal of Financial Reporting, located at https://www.editorialmanager.com/aaajfir. The site contains detailed instructions regarding the preparation of files for submission. To ensure anonymous review, please note that the article title page (with author names) must be in a separate file from the manuscript text.
Revisions must be submitted within 12 months from request, otherwise they will be considered new submissions.
The nonrefundable submission fee in U.S. funds is $75 for AAA members (you must login if to receive the member price) and $125 for nonmembers and payable by credit card (Visa, MasterCard or American Express). If you are unable to pay by credit card or have any questions, please contact the AAA Member Services Team at (941) 921-7747 or info@aaahq.org.
You will need your invoice number, highlighted in yellow in the image below, when submitting to the journal.
